If you have a dog that exhibits various signs of anxiety, you’ll find this website to be a wealth of knowledge and information. I’ve called it ‘Anxiety In Dogs’ because that is truly the main focus of the content you will find here.
A little about me…well, my name is Anne. I’m a married mother of three. Four if you count our fur baby, Oscar. I launched this website as a personal journey to help out our Oscar.
You see, Oscar has always been a bit on the nervous side. What sort of increased his anxiety was when we left him with family friends for a month. The next family vacation we manage to put together will include Oscar.
But it’s not me that Oscar has bonded with the most in our household. My husband, Dave and Oscar are what you would probably call inseparable best friends. I think Oscar understands what Dave is saying to him and vice versa. I say that because whenever Dave steps outside or heads off to work, Oscar will sit by the door and whine. It’s both a little bit sad and creepy at the same time.
I say creepy because I’ve been a part of Dave’s life for far longer than Oscar has but by the way he acts when Dave gets ready to go to work you’d think they were married.
Anyway, where was I?
Oh, right. Anxiety In Dogs, the website. Well, I have to admit that I was not a dog expert before I created this website but now I’m pretty much up to speed on what causes Oscar to be such a grouch when there’s a thunderstorm brewing or a loud noise somewhere nearby.
I have learned so much about the different ways Anxiety In Dogs can cause a dog to act and have been writing and posting my findings on this website. I am hopeful that you find the information I have here to be of some use to you.
What I like most about this website is that is has allowed me to share the things I’ve learned about Oscar to others so you can help your dog. Plus, it has brought a lot of new dog owners into my life with their stories.
If you have a nervous dog and would like to share your experiences, I’d love to hear them. You can reach me by filling out the online Contact Us form.
Thanks for visiting and I hope you find something here that can help with your dog. Anne
